Providence Catholic School
The mission at Providence Catholic School is to provide quality education
to young women in grades 6 through 12 in
an academic community grounded in and permeated by trust in a provident God
who loves and cares for all creation. Believing that each person is called
by God to be actively involved in bringing about justice, peace, freedom and
love, Providence Catholic School is committed to: Education, Faith, Service and
Development. Providence Catholic School is sponsored by the Congregation of Divine

Moye Retreat Center
A ministry of the Sisters of Divine Providence, Moye Center is a gathering
place hosting retreats, renewal programs, academic retreats, and other group
activities. Located in Castroville, in the original Motherhouse of the CDPs
in Texas, the Center welcomes groups and individuals of all denominations,
women and men from diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
The Sophia Women's
Learning Center
The Sophia Women's Learning Center was created to provide an opportunity
for women whose high school education was interrupted. Admission is open to
all women who have graduated from 8th grade and who are committed to earning
a high school diploma. Courses are computer-based and provide individualized
learning. All classes meet on Saturdays at the Sophia Women's Learning Center
located at Our Lady of the Lake Convent (on the campus of Our Lady of the
Lake University) from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tutors and mentors are provided.
Merced Housing
Texas
Merced Housing Texas is a nonprofit corporate ministry sponsored by nine
congregations of Catholic women religious, including the Sisters of Divine
Providence, as a concrete, organized response to concerns for housing justice
for the economically poor. Merced Housing Texas' mission is to create and
strengthen healthy communities through the provision of quality, affordable,
service-enriched housing for individuals and families who are economically
poor.
