February 8: International Day of Prayer and Awareness Against Human Trafficking

The CDP Advocacy Group focused on eliminating human trafficking brings attention to this unfortunate local reality: “We in San Antonio are at the crossroads of two highways used by human traffickers, IH-10 and IH-35. We have seen local news reports of cases of human trafficking. Let us join with others in prayer and education about human trafficking.” Prayer Card from USCCB

Please read the following message from Global Sisters Report: Feb. 8 is the International Day of Prayer and Awareness Against Human Trafficking and the feast day of St. Josephine Bakhita, a Canossian nun and former slave.
