DtovarGuanajuato México on October 19, 1942.  She entered the Convent of the Sister of Divine Providence from Jofrito, Querétaro in 1957.  She made her first vows in 1965.

Her first mission was in Rosenberg, Texas.  She worked with the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in México City for 14 years and as Novice Director for two years in Querétaro.  For the following three years she served as a staff member of the Mexican American Catholic College while pursuing her studies there and at the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, Texas.

Her additional ministries include serving as Parish administrator in Sanderson Texas for five years Director of Comunidades de Base in the Diocese of Saltillo Coahuila, México for the next five years, serving as Coordinator for México Region twice in nine years followed by eight years at San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio Texas.

One of her most fulfilling ministries came next as Diocesan Director of Prison Ministry in the Diocese of San Angelo, Texas.  This ministry was paused upon her election as Regional Superior of the Mexico Region.  She will serve in this capacity until 20??  She always willingly serves and is always ready for the next adventure with Divine Providence in the different ways she is called to serve God’s people.
