Sister Anita Brenek, CDP, is serving on the Leadership Team as First Assistant. With family roots in the rural area near Cyclone and Westphalia, Texas, she entered the Congregation in 1968 and made her First Profession of Vows in 1970. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Our Lady of the Lake College, a Masters in Religious Studies from Incarnate Word College and a Masters in Spirituality from Loyola University in Chicago. She has served in vocation ministry in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, formation ministry for the Congregation, parish ministry, and elementary education in both Catholic and public schools.
