The Congregation of Divine Providence celebrates Sister My Hanh Tran on her selection as 2019-2020 teacher of the year at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School.

According to her peers at Blessed Sacrament High School, “Sister My Hanh Tran is a dedicated teacher who truly enjoys sharing her love of God with the students. She has taught the elementary students many songs to help them understand the amazing things God gives us and does for us daily. Through art, she inspires the students to express their creativity and, at the same time, helps them to develop as a whole person. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and to help the elementary team come up with new ideas on how to build community at Blessed. She also helps the overall community by taking on different art contests, such as the Google doodle contest and the VIA bus art contest, to share our students’ God given talents while getting publicity for our school.”

The Congregation of Divine Providence is proud of her dedicated service to her ministry of teaching.

Sister My Hanh Tran will be recognized at a special Mass with Archbishop Gustavo at Assumption Seminary on Friday, August 7, 2020. Originally, the celebration was scheduled for May during the Outstanding Leaders and Teacher of the Year Dinner but was cancelled due to COVID-19.
