Sister Norberta was born on October 1, 1920 in Ennis, Texas to a Czech family. In 1936, she entered the Congregation of Divine Providence (CDP) at just 16 years old. Her sister, Julian Honza, also became a CDP. She served as a librarian in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas and impacted many of her students over the years. Sister Norberta served in social ministry and office work at St. Louis University in Missouri.

We thank her for her dedicating her life to service in ministry and wish her many more years to come.
